CONGO AFTER SCHOOL THEATRE
CAST (Congo After School Theatre) our in-community residency, offers unique performance-based programs that empower and uplift the next generation of young Black and Brown artists. Congo Square Theatre collaborates with youth-based and youth advocacy organizations to support the holistic development of young learners through leadership, community building, public speaking, and social-emotional learning.
Facilitated by our fantastic staff of teaching artists, each In-Community residency works with participants as an ensemble to lead integrated curricula that enhance and improve educational goals and social-emotional skills and uplift community narratives and experiences.
We work to customize each residency to align with the organization's desires and best equip and enrich participants.
