Rita Wicks is thrilled to be a part of Festival on the Square and Welcome to Matteson with Congo Square Theatre! She attended Illinois State University for two years and then graduated from Columbia College Chicago with her Bachelors in Acting. Recent credits include IS GOD IS (A Red Orchid Theatre), PERDIDO (directed by Muhammad Bilal), JANE: ABORTION & THE UNDERGROUND (Cats Cradle Theatre), CREATING ARTHUR (Theater Wit) and LITTLE RED REBOOT (Laugh Out Loud Theater). Rita’s mission is to create work that highlights and transforms outdated beliefs to create unity, healing & forward-thinking within the world. Offstage, some of her hobbies include making funny videos, singing and playing with her 2 Shih Tzu’s Prince & CoCo. She is represented by Lori Lins Ltd.
