Curriculum Objectives Residency Enrichment
CORE (Curriculum Objectives Residency Enrichment): Our in-school residencies integrate theatrical principles with academic units to supplement, reinforce, and enhance students' understanding of key curriculum concepts (e.g., Community, Encouragement, Values, Empathy, Creativity, Choices, and Confidence).
Teaching Artists, alongside classroom teachers, lead integrated curricula that enhance and improve educational goals and social-emotional skills.
In-school residencies support Illinois Core ELA and SEL Standards alongside theater principles, creating a unique learning opportunity for each classroom.
We work to customize each residency to align with the school's desires and best equip and enrich students.
